At SPRUCE GARDEN LTD., we are seeking a skilled Landscape Worker to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, tying and securing plants, and performing various tasks related to lawn care and gardening.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Tie and secure plants, ensuring they are properly anchored and secure.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a healthy and visually appealing landscape.
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse to keep the work site clean and tidy.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
  • Perform other tasks as required to maintain a high-quality landscape.
Work Environment:

As a Landscape Worker, you will be working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. You will be required to work at heights and handle heavy loads, making physical demands a significant part of the job.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work at heights.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to perform tasks that require fine motor skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to handle heavy loads, work at heights, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity. You will be required to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation.
