About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Project Manager to join our Technology Planning & Delivery team in Waterloo, Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading complex IT projects and driving business outcomes that ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our platforms and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead IT projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and vendors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements and IT solutions.
  • Drive business outcomes through effective project management, risk management, and issue resolution.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, risk management, and security policies and procedures.
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including project sponsors, business leaders, and IT teams.
Requirements
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in leading complex IT projects.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in IT project management, with a focus on business transformation and digital solutions.
  • Ability to zoom in on delivery details and operate at a cross-functional oversight level.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and reporting skills, with the ability to present to audiences at all organizational levels.
  • Experience with organizational change management and leading by influence.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple interdependencies.
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
