**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to serve as the Department Student Council Co-President. This is a volunteer position that requires a strong commitment to advocating for the interests of students in their respective department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advocate for the interests of students in their respective department
- Organize, promote, and execute academic and social events for the department
- Prepare for and attend every Arts and Science Faculty Board
- Coordinate administration of USAT evaluations
- Submit a budget, strategic plan, and constitution to the Academics Commissioner
- Participate in DSC Assembly, to be held once a month
- Attend a monthly meeting with the Academics Commissioner or the Deputy Academics Commissioner
- Follow all provisions in the DSC Charter
Requirements:
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Passion for student advocacy and community engagement
