Capital Markets Transformation Specialist

Job Summary
Job Description
The Winter Intern will be a key contributor to the Royal Bank of Canada's Capital Markets Business Transformation team, supporting the organization by working closely with business partners across the platform.
In this role, you will support the Supplier Management Office to provide analysis for the implementation and improvement of business processes, workflow, project management methods, and computer systems to support policy administration and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply exceptional business acumen and strategic analysis to support the execution of projects and/or project tasks, including planning, analysis, assessment of alternatives, developing recommendations, and communication of results
- Regularly report progress of work stream status, milestones, achievements, and risks/issues in both formal and informal settings
- Support the preparation and content creation for executive presentations
Requirements
Must-have:
- Experience with business problem solving
- Excellent business communication skills
- Financial acumen
- Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, lookups)
- Eagerness to learn and strong interest in Capital Markets
Nice-to-have:
- Previous co-op/internship experience in a similar role
- General knowledge of Capital Markets industry/products and/or experience working in Capital Markets
