Role Responsibilities
What does this role entail?
If you are keen on the prospect of serving as a Quantitative Technology Services Co-op, your application will be evaluated for various positions within RBC QTS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess business needs and convert them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, code, and conduct code reviews and testing of applications, adhering to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
- Perform design and integration testing of applications.
- Manage releases and incidents related to applications.
- Handle a variety of project tasks and daily support as directed by business requirements, while enhancing efficiencies within the department.
Qualifications for Success
Essential Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, with a strong academic record.
- Experience in application development within UNIX/Linux or Windows environments.
- Proficient programming skills in one or more of the following languages: Java, C#, C/C++, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- Self-motivated individual with strong analytical and interpersonal abilities, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
- Proficient in MS Office and experienced in presenting to stakeholders.
