The Winter Intern will be a key contributor to the RBC Capital Markets Business Transformation and Governance team, supporting the organization by working closely with business partners across the platform.
Job Description
The Winter Intern will support the Supplier Management Office in providing analysis for the implementation and improvement of processes, workflow, project management methods, computer systems, and other tools to support policy administration and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize exceptional business acumen and strategic/financial analysis to support project execution, including planning, analysis, assessment of alternatives, developing recommendations, and communication of results
- Regularly report progress of work stream status, milestones, achievements, and risks/issues in both formal and informal settings
- Support the preparation and content creation for executive presentations
Requirements
Must-Have
- Experience with business problem-solving
- Excellent business communication skills
- Financial acumen
- Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, lookups)
- Eagerness to learn and strong interest in Capital Markets
Nice-to-Have
- Previous co-op/internship experience in a similar role
- General knowledge of Capital Markets industry/products and/or experience working in Capital Markets
