Legal Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Specialist to join our team at IKEA. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with local and international laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the legal manager in reviewing, supporting, and securing legal aspects of the business and operations in Ingka for Canada.
- Cooperate with stakeholders to secure mutually sustainable solutions.
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements and legal documents.
- Pro-actively support management and other stakeholders to run the IKEA business and secure rights and assess obligations to reduce exposure to legal risks and optimize business opportunities.
- Contribute to and support the implementation of the Business Plan, development projects, and corresponding roadmap.
- Implement standard processes and ways of working for the legal area in the Ingka Group.
- Develop competence and provide education to relevant stakeholders in the area of laws and regulations.
- Keep updated in relevant international and local legal and governance developments, including changes in international, domestic, and case laws and regulations.
