Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Practice Consultant, Social Work to join our team at PHSA. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our strategic vision and driving interprofessional collaboration to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic vision for interprofessional collaborative practice, aligning with PHSA's mission and values.
- Provide leadership and expertise in clinical informatics, ensuring the effective use of technology to support patient care and improve health outcomes.
- Collaborate with discipline leaders to ensure compliance with professional standards and regulations, and provide input on clinical information system design and implementation.
- Participate in policy and procedure development, including those related to clinical informatics, and contribute to the design of data collection tools for practice decision-making and record keeping.
- Lead complex projects and initiatives aimed at improving interprofessional collaborative practice, new technology integration, and innovative practice approaches to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Nursing, Allied Health, or Health Sciences, plus five years of recent experience in a leadership role.
- Current practicing registration with a professional regulatory body.
- Informatics training or certification an asset.
- Demonstrated knowledge of interprofessional practice, clinical informatics, and project management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
