Culinary Expertise Required

Zaika Indian Restaurant & Lounge seeks an experienced Culinary Expert to join their team. As a Senior Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods

  • Inspecting kitchens and food service areas

  • Training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food

  • Ordering supplies and equipment

  • Supervising kitchen staff and helpers

  • Maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment

  • Cleaning kitchen and work areas

  • Organizing buffets and banquets

  • Managing kitchen operations

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required

Work Setting:

  • Restaurant

  • Urban area
