Interior Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled Maternity Care Professional to join our team in a perinatal clinical setting.

About the Job:

  • We are looking for a qualified Registered Nurse to practice in a dynamic and collaborative environment, working closely with the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional client-centered care.
  • You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating client care, ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice.

About this location/unit:

Penticton Regional Hospital serves a large geographical area, providing comprehensive healthcare services to the community. Our perinatal unit is comprised of 4 delivery rooms, 7 postpartum beds, and 5 female med-surg beds, making it an ideal place to advance your career.

We work closely with obstetricians, pediatricians, family physicians, and midwives to ensure seamless care for our patients. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to our goal of achieving Baby Friendly Designation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert nursing care to clients in a perinatal clinical setting.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
