Baycrest is seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our Ambulatory Programs team. As a Physiotherapist, Ambulatory Programs Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical teams, and developing evidence-based programs.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Practice: Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, develop and implement patient care plans, and provide treatment interventions for complex geriatric, neurological, and musculoskeletal populations.
- Leadership and Education: Participate in the teaching and mentoring of physiotherapy and physiotherapy assistant students, and provide direction and supervision to physiotherapy assistants.
- Program Development: Collaborate with the inter-professional team to implement client-focused care plans and coordinate discharge planning processes.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based research to inform clinical decision-making and program development.
- Education: Licensure in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- Experience: Experience working with geriatric populations with multiple medical conditions and/or cognitive impairment is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Technology: Proficient in Meditech, MDS, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
