Job Title: Physiotherapist, Ambulatory Programs

Baycrest is seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our Ambulatory Programs team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients with complex geriatric, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Collaborate with the inter-professional team to implement client-focused care plans and coordinate discharge planning.
  • Provide education and support to patients, caregivers, and family members on physiotherapy techniques and strategies.
  • Supervise and mentor physiotherapy students and assistants to ensure high-quality care.
  • Participate in program development and evaluation to ensure evidence-based practice.
Qualifications:
  • Licensure in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Membership or eligibility for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
  • Experience working with geriatric populations with multiple medical conditions and/or cognitive impairment.
  • Confirmed status as ADP authorizer.
  • Expertise in clinical assessments of elderly clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
