Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Plan and direct grounds maintenance projects, including hiring and supervising staff, estimating labor and materials, and organizing construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls.
    • Manage and supervise landscape construction work, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Staff Supervision and Development
    • Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure efficient project execution.
    • Provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain work records and logs, including tendering and administering contracts.
    • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
    • Physically demanding, requiring manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Initiative, judgment, and client focus are essential for success in this role.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
