Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at JS ROMANA LANDSCAPING. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and construction of our clients' outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, supervise and schedule staff to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance, including lawn care, pruning, and planting.
  • Plan and estimate labour and materials for landscape construction projects.
  • Organize and direct the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other outdoor features.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs to track project progress and client satisfaction.
  • Tender and administer contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient project completion.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in landscape construction or grounds maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively supervise staff and manage client relationships.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with physical demands including handling heavy loads and working in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate project execution.

Our team works in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and physical demands. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of productivity in a physically demanding role.
