Job Title: Electrical Site Manager - Substation Construction

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to lead our substation construction team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all daily on-site activities to ensure projects are executed effectively and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Site Management: Lead the on-site crew, ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintaining high-quality workmanship as per design documents.
  2. Safety and Compliance: Implement and enforce company safety policies and procedures, documenting and reporting any incidents or injuries.
  3. Project Coordination: Collaborate with the Project Manager to meet project timelines, utilizing resources efficiently and communicating with stakeholders.
  4. Crew Development: Mentor and train site crew members in adopting a culture of safety, empowering them to remain knowledgeable of company policies and procedures.
  5. Quality Control: Ensure quality of workmanship meets design standards and company expectations.
Requirements
  • Degree in Construction Management or related field, or Journeyman PSE/Electrician designation required.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in the construction industry required.
  • Experience in medium to high-voltage substation construction is a definite asset.
