The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Operational Controls Analyst to contribute to the implementation of our operational controls program. As a key member of our Enterprise Risk Management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our risk framework and controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of our Enterprise Risk Management's risk framework in relation to expanding regulatory expectations, including OSFI B-10 Third-Party Risk, B-13 Technology and Cyber Risk, and E-21 Enterprise Risk Management.
  • Aid in the collection, confirmation, and documentation of key operational controls within the organization, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of data.
  • Contribute to the education and communication on risk-related topics, such as Third-Party Risk Management and IT Risk Management.
  • Work with the team and stakeholders to identify, document, and review risk mitigation tactics.
  • Provide support to team members and functions within the team as required.

Requirements

  • You have 4-6 years of experience in Information Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Third-Party Risk, including 2-3 years of experience in an Insurance or Financial Services environment.
  • You have a post-secondary degree in Business, IT, Math, or a related discipline.
  • You have experience in documenting and assessing IT controls.
  • Having a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Canadian Risk Management, Professional Risk Manager, or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) designation is an asset.
