Store Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Store Clerk to join our team at Geeland International Grocery. As a Store Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service, answering customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operate a cash register, handling cash, credit card, and debit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and providing recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and sweeping and mopping floors.
- Work effectively in a team environment, communicating with colleagues and management to achieve sales and customer service goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail experience an asset.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
