About the Opportunity

The Event Crew Member plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences on our cruises. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our events, providing top-notch service to our guests, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional hospitality to guests and coworkers, adhering to our company's RESPECT Service System
  • Deliver food and beverage items to guests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Polish plates, cutlery, and glasses to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
  • Prepare and maintain buffets, ensuring they are visually appealing and well-stocked
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of all common areas and service stations
  • Set up and break down dining rooms and service stations as required
  • Assist with food plating and buffet service when needed
  • Provide information to guests about menu descriptions, order of service, and entertainment options
  • Be prepared to begin work at scheduled times and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm throughout the shift
Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience
  • Previous restaurant experience preferred
  • Smart Serve Certification required
  • Energetic and enthusiastic personality essential
  • Ability to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to guests and coworkers
  • Ability to lift furniture and other heavy items, such as bus tubs, up and down stairs
  • Ability to work for extended periods without sitting and to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, pull, move, or lift up to 40 pounds
