Critical Care Registered Nurse

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Richmond Hospital.
About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to critically ill clients in our Intensive Care Unit. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement care for our clients.
Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care to critically ill clients, including those requiring life-support equipment
- Assess and manage complex critical illnesses, including cardiovascular, respiratory, and neurological conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to maintain and advance your clinical competence
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence in patient care
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Completion of a recognized critical care nursing program or two years' recent, related critical care experience
- Strong knowledge of nursing theory and practice within a client/family-centered model of care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
