About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at 8940002 Canada Inc. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members, to ensure they are meeting sales targets and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Sales and Operations: Assign sales staff to duties, manage inventory, and oversee the ordering and return of merchandise to ensure efficient stock levels and minimize losses.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, merchandising reports, and personnel reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers, including office and volunteer staff, to ensure seamless store operations.
  • Payroll and Administration: Oversee payroll administration, including authorizing payments and managing employee records.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments, with the ability to stand for extended periods. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and driving sales growth.
