About the Role

A Senior Solution Consultant will become an expert in OneStream technology and use this expertise on a daily basis to present the value proposition and benefits of our solutions to partners, prospects, customers, and internally supporting our sales force. This role is part of our Presales team and will participate in the design, validation, and presentation of OneStream solutions based on customer needs, which vary in complexity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver flawless standard and custom product demonstrations to mid and C-level executives in the Office of Finance, shortening the sales cycle.
  • Provide presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers, ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision.
  • Act as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants, Sales Development, and Sales representatives.
  • Transform business requirements/challenges into Proof-of-Concept presentations.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality OneStream presentations and demonstrations.
  • Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction, and overall OneStream solutions.
  • Improve/maintain standard demo assets to ensure top-notch sales presentations.
  • Design, validate, and present Database & OneStream Cloud solutions, including advanced product concepts and future direction.
  • Develop and manage references through high-quality technical, professional client relationships.

Required Education and Experience

  • BS Degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable in Computer Science or Technology-related degree.
  • Technical experience with OneStream or similar CPM tools.
  • 6+ years of experience in Database Management, including building, developing, and deploying applications.
  • Proven ability in performing rapid assessments of customers' landscape and targeting use cases and deployment targets for Cloud technology. Ability to provide guidance in the evaluation of OneStream's Cloud solution.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role such as consultant, technical solutions engineer, or solutions architect.
  • Extraordinary presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Must have the ability to lead technical discussions and identify the right solution for our customer's needs.
  • Versed and experienced with business analysis and financial modeling.
  • Three to five+ years of CPM industry experience.
  • Background in Finance/Accounting.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Strong listening skills.

Preferred Education and Experience

Previous experience as a Services Consultant, Database Administrator, or Technical Pre-Sales is preferred.
