Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Indian Authentic Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, including special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
  • Kitchen Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and service.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and provide guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate and relocation costs covered by employer.
