About this role

The Digital Asset Management Lead is a critical position responsible for leading the Payments Modernization team. As a seasoned leader, you will provide direction, leadership, and oversight of BESS Replacement Lab & its modernization objectives.

Key responsibilities

  1. Manage a team by coaching, mentoring, training, and assigning tasks in line with department objectives to drive technical excellence and continuous improvement in business agility.
  2. Role model agile delivery framework and champion the Agile mindset, methodologies, and ceremonies to ensure successful project execution.
  3. Stand-up thorough and detailed operational models and procedures for incident and problem management to minimize downtime and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  4. Manage vendor relationships and project work assignments to ensure collaboration and punctual delivery of code releases, bug fixes, and other deliverables.
  5. Responsible for timely resolution of internal/external issues, ensuring solutions meet best practices, quality, and security standards.
  6. Actively pursue effective and efficient solutions while ensuring adequacy and effectiveness of day-to-day controls to maintain high-performance environment.
  7. Leverage Bank standard solutions for story/task, incident, work management to streamline processes and improve productivity.
  8. Independently support the implementation of application enhancements to resolve complex problems and drive business growth.
  9. Champion a high-performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates your team.
  10. Leadership experience in Agile/Scrum delivery model and process knowledge in relation to scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, systems design, change management, and release management are essential.
  11. Strong technical knowledge of system integration and good understanding of the Bank's business units, products, and services are required.
  12. A recognized undergraduate degree or equivalent in relevant discipline and Agile certification/project management certification are assets.

Estimated salary range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum.
