We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist - Financial Record Keeper to join our team at Tim Hortons.
Job Summary
The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and performing various bookkeeping tasks.
Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
- Post journal entries and prepare trial balances of books.
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Accurate, client-focused, organized, reliable, and results-driven.
Benefits
- Permanent full-time position with 35 hours per week.
- Competitive salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
- English language required.
