About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our team at Aggarwal and Associates Ltd. as a Family Medicine Specialist. As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and management in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and Analyze Medical Information: Gather and evaluate medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals to identify diseases and injuries.
  • Examine and Diagnose Patients: Conduct thorough examinations to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Order Diagnostic Procedures: Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment.
  • Consult with Colleagues: Collaborate with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health.
  • Prescribe and Administer Medications: Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as necessary.
  • Provide Preventative Care: Inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases.
  • Advocate for Patients: Act as a patient advocate to ensure the best possible care and outcomes.
  • Manage Patient Care: Coordinate and manage primary patient care, including acute care management.
  • Provide Counselling and Support: Offer counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
  • Provide Emergency Care: Provide emergency care and respond to critical situations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP), Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC), and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail, standing for extended periods, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, and interpersonal awareness.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
