Mechanical Design Specialist

At IMW Industries dba Clean Energy, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our Engineering team. As a Mechanical Designer, you will play a crucial role in the development of our products, working closely with our team to design and produce high-quality mechanical components.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop detailed manufacturing designs and drawings using SolidWorks.
- Generate engineering Bills of Materials (BOM) in our ERP system.
- Design and develop 3D models and standard toolbox libraries.
- Control and maintain drawings according to company procedures.
- Improve drawing control procedures and company standards.
- Set up software systems to ensure standardized drawing formats and model generation.
- Maintain part and engineering BOM in ERP.
- Check drawings when assigned.
- Engineering diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in preparing manufacturing drawings for fabrication and assembly.
- Experience with machine and component layout.
- Solid background in fittings, materials, fasteners, sealing components, and standard parts.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience using SolidWorks for production of layout and manufacturing drawings.
The successful candidate will be required to stand, walk, or sit regularly, use hands to operate computers and office equipment, and use vision and hearing when working with communication and office materials. Ability to communicate clearly with production staff and vendors both verbally and in writing is essential.
