Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed manufacturing designs and drawings using SolidWorks and other design tools.
  • Generate engineering Bills of Materials (BOM) in our ERP system.
  • Collaborate with our production team to ensure that designs are feasible and meet production requirements.
  • Improve drawing control procedures and company standard practices.
  • Set up software systems to ensure standardized drawing formats and model generation.
  • Maintain part and engineering BOM in our ERP system.
  • Check drawings when assigned.
Requirements:
  • Engineering diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in preparing manufacturing drawings for fabrication and assembly.
  • Experience with machine and component layout.
  • Solid background with fittings, materials, fasteners, sealing components, and standard parts available in industry.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience using SolidWorks for the production of layout and manufacturing drawings.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to stand, walk, or sit regularly, use hands to operate computers and office equipment, and use vision and hearing when working with communication and office materials. The ability to communicate clearly with production staff and vendors both verbally and in writing is essential.
