About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic SaaS startup. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the product development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the product development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and deliver high-quality products on time.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the FinTech market, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Utilize strong technical skills in full stack development to contribute to product architecture and design decisions.
  • Oversee and manage deployments in Azure and Kubernetes environments, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
  • Lead project management efforts, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and progress tracking, to ensure timely delivery of product milestones.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 to 9 years of experience in Product and Engineering Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the FinTech industry.
  • Proven technical expertise in full stack development, particularly with Java, JavaScript, and React.
  • Comfortable leading fast prototyping and reviewing APIs and data.
  • Experience implementing machine learning, AI, and Large Language Models.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with experience in agile methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities – including leading by example.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Passion for FinTech and a desire to stay ahead of industry trends and best practices.
  • Ambitious, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing startup environment.
  • Excellent communication (written and spoken) and interpersonal skills in both French and English.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is an asset.
