Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Print Production Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing the production of digital prints, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate digital print equipment, including Black & White and Color Copiers/Printers
- Understand and utilize workflow tools, such as Free Flow and/or Fiery
- Operate standard finishing equipment, including paper cutters, bindery, laminating, desktop folders, and drill
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to requests, providing estimates, scheduling, and tracking print production requests
- Perform quality inspections before, during, and after output of each production run
- Track and store jobs for reuse at a future date
- Maintain reporting logs and information for billing purposes
- Wrap, pack, label, and ship finished products as needed
- Maintain supply inventory levels
- Problem-solve basic issues to complete digital print production, delivery, and output requirements
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate balancing of files
- Ability to follow written instructions for processing different types of jobs
- Ability and willingness to learn and develop
Associate Document Advisor
As an Associate Document Advisor, you will be responsible for managing smaller, simple projects independently, and complex projects with support from the Service Delivery Manager. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing job specifications for accuracy and full understanding
- Reviewing suppliers to ensure we have the proper suppliers on the list for the job
- Working with the Client/Account team to determine requirements and manage suppliers effectively
- Working with Suppliers and Account team to provide solutions and support
- Working with suppliers and internal stakeholders to make sound buying decisions that drive increased client value, high customer satisfaction, and enhanced margin
- Reviewing job specifications for full understanding of the project, providing timely and accurate estimating service that meets SLA requirements and delights the customer
- Determining potential suppliers to quote jobs (on appropriate technology/print devices)
- Managing the quote and award process
- Managing margins on procurement to ensure that we meet and exceed company's and client's expectations regarding cost savings and profitability
- Analyzing proof(s) for content, production challenges, and concerns
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Intermediate use of MS Office, Adobe, and other relevant software
- Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of print production, including specific industry or application-specific experience
- Relationship building skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Developing IT skills, possessing an ability to use existing and new technologies
- Ability to prioritize and ensure execution of tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Recognizing and communicating key information
- Able to operate effectively in a virtual team environment
Experience
- 1-2 years' experience in a Digital Print Shop and Customer Service environment
- 2-3 years' experience in the Print Industry in the procurement field (preferred)
Language
This role requires fluency in Spanish (es-ES).
