Job Summary

The Millwright Apprentice will assist in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
  • Assist in the assembly and installation of new equipment
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Complete work orders and maintain accurate documentation
Requirements
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice in a recognized College program
  • Proficient in English (verbal and written)
  • Related work experience or training in a manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Positive attitude towards learning new ideas and skills
  • Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
  • Meet the minimum physical requirements for the job
