Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Millwright Apprentice to join our team at Linamar Corporation. As a Millwright Apprentice, you will play a critical role in maintaining production and facility equipment to ensure maximum uptime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete work assignments thoroughly and in a timely manner.
  • Perform regular machine preventive/predictive maintenance.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repair activities for machine breakdowns.
  • Install new equipment and coordinate with outside services as required.
  • Establish and maintain maintenance standards and develop maintenance programs.
  • Notify personnel of stock deficiencies and tool/material requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, including TS 16949, OHSAS 18001:2007, and ISO 14001:2004.
  • Support and maintain department lean initiatives.
  • Maintain performance standards and apply for Provincial examination within one year of completion date.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent general education.
  • Related work experience and/or training in a machining environment.
  • Experience with CNC machines and computer fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 and related procedures.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 40-45 lbs on an occasional basis.
