Job Title: Bricklayer Foreman/Woman

At Rainforces Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bricklayer Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our building sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of bricklayers and other construction staff to ensure efficient and safe working practices.
  • Prepare and submit reports on site progress, including budgets, schedules, and quality control.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Recruit, train, and develop the skills of bricklayers and other construction staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Ensure that all site operations are conducted in accordance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of site activities, including time sheets, attendance records, and equipment maintenance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve site efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to motivate and inspire others.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software systems, including CADD and other relevant tools.
Personal Suitability:
  • Organized and reliable.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively.
