Truck and Trailer Operations Manager

Brandt Truck Trailers is seeking a skilled Foreman to lead our Nisku location's Service Department.
The ideal candidate will oversee the daily organization and dispatch of technicians, ensuring quality repair work and advising the Service Manager on technician skills and training needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize work performed and maintain quality control
- Supervise service technicians and provide coaching and mentoring to apprentices
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Advise and mentor technicians on customer service and service excellence
- Establish and maintain an on-call field schedule
- Communicate effectively with customers, the service team, and other branch personnel
- Manage costs and ensure profitability of the department
- Prepare work orders for warranty and perform other duties as required
Required Skills:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills required
- Ability to work after-hours and lift up to 50 pounds
Required Experience:
- Previous mechanical experience in a Heavy-Duty Truck and Trailer environment preferred
- 3+ years in a supervisory role
- Certified Journeyperson in the Heavy-Duty Truck and/or Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade preferred
- Familiarity with Class 6-8 Truck chassis, Trailers, and Truck Equipment
- Experience in a service department setting considered an asset
- Valid CVIP license considered an asset
- Experience in CAT, Cummins, and PACCAR engines considered an asset
