We are seeking a highly skilled Plastic Surgeon to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of pediatric plastic surgery.
Key Responsibilities- Medical Research and Consultation
Conduct research on human disorders, illnesses, and preventive or curative methods, and provide expert consultation to other physicians.
Diagnostic ProceduresOrder laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to diagnose and treat patients.
Supervision and LeadershipSupervise working groups and provide guidance to junior staff members.
Specialized CareProvide specialized care to patients with plastic surgery needs, including pediatrics.
Requirements- Education and Certification
Hold a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry, and be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Work ExperienceHave at least 5 years of experience in plastic surgery, preferably in a hospital setting.
Skills and Abilitiespossess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Working ConditionsThis is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
