Job Title: Plastic Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled Plastic Surgeon to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). As a Plastic Surgeon, you will be responsible for performing complex surgical procedures to restore form and function to patients with defects or deformities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, and preventive or curative methods
  • Study the nature, cause, and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases
  • Act as consultants to other physicians and order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures
  • Supervise working groups and ensure the highest standards of patient care
Requirements:
  • Must have a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in the field
  • Must be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and licensed by provincial or territorial authorities
Work Environment:

As a Plastic Surgeon at SickKids, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding conditions. You must be able to work under pressure and have excellent communication skills.
