Plastic Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled Plastic Surgeon to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). As a Plastic Surgeon, you will be responsible for performing surgical procedures to restore and improve the form and function of the skin and underlying tissues.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, and preventive or curative methods
- Study the nature, cause, and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases
- Act as consultants to other physicians and order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures
- Supervise working groups and ensure the highest standards of patient care
- Must have a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in the field
- Must be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and licensed by provincial or territorial authorities
As a Plastic Surgeon at SickKids, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding conditions. You must be able to work under pressure and have excellent communication skills.
