About the Role

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team in Powell River, BC. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physiotherapist to provide physical therapy interventions and support to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy interventions and support to clients under the supervision of a licensed physiotherapist.
  • Assist in modifying PT care plans to enable clients to maximize their potential for independence.
  • Provide functional direction to clients and report relevant observations of their condition and progress.
  • Manage equipment safety and inventory.
Requirements
  • Completion of a recognized Diploma level Rehabilitation Assistant Program with Physical therapy components.
  • One year's recent, related experience working with the target population or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Valid BC Driver's License and access to a vehicle.
