Job Description

As a Scrum Master for Data-Driven Projects, you will be responsible for creating an environment that fosters collaboration between the Product Owner and the Squad. You will oversee the implementation of Agile principles, tools, and techniques, ensuring the successful delivery of data-related projects.

You will facilitate relationships within data-focused squads and environments, providing support and coaching to the Product Owner, Squad, and Stakeholders. As a servant leader, you will empower the team to make decisions and take ownership of their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an Integrated Project/Sprint Plan, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of confirmed scope.
  • Manage project financials, identifying and mitigating risks, issues, and changes to support the team's success.
  • Facilitate Scrum Events, including Sprint planning, Daily standup, Sprint reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Sprint Refinement.
  • Identify and remove obstacles and impediments, ensuring the team's progress and success.
  • Support and coach the Squad and Product Owner in implementing Agile principles and practices.
  • Facilitate collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement, ensuring alignment and priorities.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Understanding of Agile principles and practices, with experience in Scrum Master/Scrum Coach roles.
  • Experience working in data-related change, with knowledge of data analytics, data engineering, data governance, data quality, data security, and data science processes.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in data-related projects, with accreditation in relevant fields (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics).
  • Ability to adapt Agile and Scrum practices to the unique challenges of data change, ensuring business and delivery needs are met.
  • Expertise in Lean, Agile Scrum, Agile Kanban, DevSecOps, and Design Thinking.
  • Understanding of the project mindset and Agile@Scale approach, with experience creating and supporting new teams, coordinating teams for new products.
  • Effective governance and stakeholder management, with ability to lead and motivate Agile and cross-functional teams.
  • Awareness and appreciation of IT and Business Risk & Cybersecurity.

Salary: $74,100 - $136,500
