Entuitive is seeking a skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our structural engineering team in our Calgary office. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and detail structural elements, including calculations, computer modeling, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with our BIM technologists and engineering team to produce engineering drawings and contract documents.
  • Manage contract administrative duties, such as shop drawing review, change order review, progress billing review, responding to RFIs, issuing Site Instructions and Structural Design Notices, attending site meetings, and conducting field reviews.
  • Utilize CAD/BIM software as required.
  • Implement and adhere to Entuitive's quality assurance programs to ensure services meet our standards and client expectations.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Entuitive.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An engineering degree with a focus on civil and structural engineering.
  • Contract administration and site inspection experience is considered an asset.
  • A working knowledge of programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, and Excel, as well as structural analysis software (SAP2000, RAM, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work with people at all levels, including project stakeholders and clients.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and deliverables on an ongoing basis.
  • Knowledge and interest related to embodied carbon is considered an asset.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle on a regular basis.
