Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Department Manager to join our team at Farm Boy. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing store operations, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Store Operations
- Manage store inventory, including receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise.
- Ensure that store displays are visually appealing and well-maintained.
- Monitor and maintain store cleanliness and organization.
- Sales Growth
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and increase sales revenue.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Team Management
- Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Provide coaching and feedback to team members to improve performance.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Customer Service
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive and memorable experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Store Operations
- Experience in retail operations, including inventory management and store maintenance.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise up to 50 pounds.
- Sales Growth
- Proven sales experience, with a track record of driving growth and increasing sales revenue.
- Ability to analyze sales data and identify trends and opportunities.
- Team Management
- Leadership experience, with a focus on motivating and developing a team.
- Ability to provide coaching and feedback to team members.
