About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at KFC. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our restaurant staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our customer needs.
    • Train and develop our staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent customer service and to maintain high standards of food quality.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and implement effective systems and procedures to manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including inventory management, stock control, and waste reduction.
    • Monitor and control labor costs, ensuring that we are operating within budget and that our staff are utilized efficiently.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
    • Monitor customer feedback and use it to improve our service and products.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that our food meets the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
    • Monitor and control food costs, ensuring that we are operating within budget and that our customers receive value for money.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on restaurant performance, including sales, labor costs, and customer feedback.
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock, and waste, ensuring that we are operating within budget and that our customers receive value for money.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
  • Work Setting
    • Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Capabilities
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Client focus.

    • Team player.
