About The Bartender Role

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at The Joneses. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and serve guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Cocktail Creation: Develop and prepare classic and signature cocktails, using fresh ingredients and attention to detail.
  • Bar Management: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, restocking supplies and managing inventory as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Possess a strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, and beer, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
  • SmartServe Certification: Hold a valid SmartServe certification or equivalent.
  • Experience: Have at least 6 months of experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Enrolled or completed a Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or Special Events program is an asset.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Possess a strong knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktails, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
