Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Fairmont Royal York, a renowned hotel in Toronto. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and wines, to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu, including drink specials and promotions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards and hotel policies.
  • Participate in pre-shift briefings and meetings to stay informed about hotel events, promotions, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of mixology techniques and ingredients, with the ability to create innovative cocktails and drinks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Smart Serve training program certification.
  • Age of majority to serve alcoholic beverages.
