Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Advisor to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for providing expert financial advice and guidance to our clients, helping them achieve their personal financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive financial planning and investment advice to clients, leveraging your expertise in financial markets and products.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and goals, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, ensuring that your advice and guidance are always current and compliant.
  • Collaborate with other team members to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow our client base.
  • Participate in training and professional development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, and stay ahead of industry developments.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial services, with a strong background in financial planning and investment advice.
  • University degree in business, commerce, or a related field, and hold a professional designation such as CFP.
  • IIROC licensed as a Registered Representative, with completion of the Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practices Handbook.
  • Life License (LLQP) and willingness to complete other regulatory requirements.
