About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Advisor to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our financial services team, you will play a critical role in providing expert financial advice and guidance to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive financial planning and investment advice to clients, ensuring their financial goals and objectives are met.
  • Develop and implement tailored financial plans and strategies for clients, taking into account their unique financial situations and needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their trust and confidence in our services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, ensuring our clients receive the latest and most effective financial solutions.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial services, with a strong background in financial planning and investment advice.
  • University degree in business, commerce, or financial planning, and hold the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
  • IIROC licensed as a Registered Representative (IIROC-RR), including completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH), and 90-day training.
  • Life License (LLQP) and a willingness to complete other regulatory requirements.
  • Wealth Management Essentials (post-licensing requirement).
