We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary Care Paramedic to join our team at Total Safety. As a Primary Care Paramedic, you will be responsible for responding to emergency situations, providing medical treatment, and ensuring the safety of our clients and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency situations, including fires, medical emergencies, and hazmat incidents
- Provide medical treatment and care to clients and employees
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential hazards
- Develop and implement training programs for emergency response teams
- Inspect and maintain emergency services equipment, including fire extinguishers and automated external defibrillators
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective emergency response and safety protocols
- Current certification as a Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) or Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP)
- Class 3 driver's license with Q endorsement
- Experience in emergency response, preferably in a refinery, upgrader, or chemical plant
- Strong knowledge of fire protection, fire, rescue, medical, and hazmat response
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
