We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at the Municipality of Meaford. As a key member of our Engineering Services department, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project teams and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and municipal policies
  • Collaborate with divisional managers to develop project requirements and budgets
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of related experience, preferably in municipal engineering or construction
  • Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment and distribution/collection
  • Professional Engineer or Certified Engineering Technician designation preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a standard office environment with regular site visits, which may involve standing or walking on uneven ground. The physical demands of the job require computer work concentration, sitting, and standing, as well as occasional lifting and exposure to inclement weather.
