At Software Secured, we're looking for an experienced Intermediate Penetration Tester to join our team of security experts. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to help our clients secure their mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform security code review, web, mobile, and network security tests
  • Help clients with security design reviews, threat modeling, and remediation strategies
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and prioritize security vulnerabilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of security best practices and industry trends
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of performing application, mobile, or desktop penetration testing
  • Strong software development background in one or more of Python,.NET, Ruby, or Java
  • Bonus points for an OSCP or GWAPT
  • Expert with OWASP Top 10 and can explain them easily
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
What We Offer:
  • Competitive base salary - $95,000 - $125,000 CAD
  • Work remotely anywhere in Canada (you're welcome to work in the Ottawa office when you'd like the option)
  • Work remotely from anywhere in the world for up to 2 months per year
  • Yearly profit-sharing between 7 - 12% of your base salary, based on your performance

  • 3 weeks of vacation to start. Additionally, the whole company is off for the week between Christmas and the New Year
