We are a leading Penetration Testing as a Service company, dedicated to helping software development teams stay ahead of hackers. Our team of experts is looking for a skilled Intermediate Penetration Tester to join us in securing mission-critical applications.

About the Role

As an Intermediate Penetration Tester at Software Secured, you will have the opportunity to perform security code review, web, mobile, and network security tests. You will help our clients with security design reviews, threat modeling, and remediation strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough security assessments of applications, mobile, and desktop systems.
  • Identify and exploit vulnerabilities to ensure the security of our clients' applications.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement effective security strategies.
  • Provide expert advice on security design reviews, threat modeling, and remediation strategies.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in penetration testing, application security, or a related field.
  • Strong software development background in one or more of Python,.NET, Ruby, or Java.
  • Expertise in OWASP Top 10 and ability to explain them easily.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or work visa required.

  • Competitive base salary: $95,000 - $125,000 CAD.
  • Remote work options: work from anywhere in Canada or the world for up to 2 months per year.
