Cybersecurity Analyst, Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Montreal-East. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust cybersecurity solutions to protect our IT assets.

  • Cybersecurity Solution Design and Implementation: Develop and deploy strategies and tools to secure our IT infrastructure.
  • Vulnerability Scanning: Identify, analyze, and manage vulnerabilities in our IT infrastructure using specialized tools, performing regular scans and taking corrective actions.
  • Cyber Security Tool Management: Manage and optimize the use of various cybersecurity tools included in our information security management system.
  • Definition of Infrastructure Security Procedures: Establish and maintain security procedures for our infrastructure, including system and network best practices.
  • Participate in SecOps Activities: Improve our security posture through continuous monitoring, incident management, and rapid response.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on the status of infrastructure vulnerabilities. Document mitigation solutions and incident response procedures.
  • Technology Watch: Stay informed of the latest trends and technologies in cybersecurity to anticipate and defend against new threats.
  • Training and Mentoring: Provide training and guidance to infrastructure teams on infrastructure security best practices.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with the entire IT team and its partners to integrate security practices into all aspects of our technology infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in computer science, information security, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • In-depth expertise in vulnerability scanning and patch management tools, Penetration Testing, as well as information security management systems.
  • Technical knowledge: Azure, VMWare, Windows Servers, Office365, Active Directory, GPO, SentinelOne, Delinea, Qualys, Forescout, Linux, Kali, PowerShell, Shellscript, Fortinet FW, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSiem.
  • A certification such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ is highly recommended.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make recommendations based on analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with infrastructure and security teams.
